The “4 Days 3 Countries Bike Tour” is an exciting mid-week trip designed to explore the beauty and diversity of 3 European countries: the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Each day starts and ends at the charming and well-equipped Hotel 1711 in Valkenburg. This event is perfect for cycling enthusiasts of all levels. Participants will enjoy scenic cycling routes, cultural experiences and every comfort for a valuable and unforgettable experience for individuals, families and groups alike.

Event Details

33 participants per session (expandable to 50 if we partner with the hotel next door)

5 nights, 4 days of cycling (Sunday arrival, Friday departure)

Aimed at a wide range of ages and fitness levels

€165 per night (includes room, breakfast, dinner, cave visit and (E-)bike)

Bike Routes

Each day, participants will take a unique bicycle tour, crossing the borders of Germany and Belgium and exploring the south of the Netherlands. The routes are as follows:

1. Germany Tour - 88.5 KM

2. Belgium Tour - 87,5 KM

3. Netherlands River Tour - 102 KM

4. Netherlands Hill Tour - 65 KM or 100 KM

Highlights of the Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival (Sunday)

Guests arrive at Hotel 1711 in Valkenburg, a charming historic hotel offering all modern amenities for a comfortable stay. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, the hotel is the ideal base, offering excellent service, cozy rooms and a peaceful setting to relax after a day of cycling. The evening concludes with a delicious dinner as participants get ready for the bike rides that follow.

Day 2-5: 4 Days, 3 Countries

Each morning begins with a hearty breakfast before the daily bike tour begins. Routes cross the border into Germany, Belgium and two routes in the Netherlands. A group activity is a guided tour of the famous Valkenburg caves, giving participants a unique cultural experience in addition to the bike rides.

Support and Customization

A support vehicle is available every day to help participants with mechanical support if needed. Bikes are safely stored in the evening and batteries are charged overnight for the next ride. Participants can also personalize their stay by adding a lunch picnic basket, extending their stay or booking spa treatments at the hotel.
